Broadcast campaigns

Send approved templates to thousands, and see what landed.

WhatsApp broadcasts send an approved message template to a filtered list of contacts, each personalised with their own variables. WACRM tracks sent, delivered, read and replied per recipient, translates Meta’s error codes into what actually went wrong, and lets you retry only the ones that failed.

How it works

  1. 1

Build a template and submit it

Compose name, language, category, header (text, image, video or document), body with numbered variables, footer and buttons — then submit to Meta for approval without leaving the CRM.

  2. 2

    Choose who receives it

Filter your audience by tag. Contacts who opted out are excluded automatically, by the platform rather than by you remembering.

  3. 3

    Watch it land

Live counts for sent, delivered, read and replied, with a per-recipient breakdown. Replies are flagged against the campaign and can trigger an automation.

The specifics

  • Pre-flight validation checks your variables against the approved template and blocks the mismatch that causes the most common broadcast failure.
  • Failures are explained in plain language — including billing and tax-information problems — with a direct link to the right Meta screen.
  • Retry failed recipients in one click once the cause is fixed.
  • Sending is batched and rate-limited so large campaigns do not trip Meta’s throughput limits.
  • Meta must approve every template before it can be broadcast, and approval is theirs to give — typically minutes, occasionally longer.

Questions people ask

Why do broadcasts need approved templates?
WhatsApp only permits business-initiated messages using templates Meta has reviewed. WACRM builds and submits them for you, and warns before a send if the variables do not match the approved version.
What happens to contacts who opted out?
They are silently excluded from every campaign and automation. Compliance is enforced by the platform, not left to whoever is sending.
Why did my broadcast fail?
Most often a variable mismatch or a billing problem on the WhatsApp Business Account. WACRM shows Meta’s real reason per recipient and links to the screen that fixes it, then lets you retry just those.
