WACRM vs Wati
The short version
Wati is an established WhatsApp Business API platform for small and mid-sized businesses, sold globally and priced in US dollars. WACRM is a WhatsApp CRM that puts the commerce stack — catalog, orders, invoices with UPI links, appointments and loyalty — in the same tool as the inbox, and passes Meta's per-conversation charges through at zero markup.
Choose Wati if: You want the safety of an established vendor with public reviews, you need Shopify/HubSpot/Salesforce integrations out of the box, or you bill internationally in USD anyway.
Choose WACRM if: You bill in rupees and would rather not pay forex on a SaaS subscription, you want unlimited seats without per-user fees, and you want commerce — catalog, invoices, appointments, loyalty — in the platform rather than bolted on.

Pricing
Two costs matter on any WhatsApp platform: the subscription, and what you pay Meta for each conversation. The second one is usually the larger of the two at volume, and it is where the two products differ most.
WACRM
- ₹999/mo — Starter: 1 seat, 5,000 contacts, 300 AI replies
- ₹2,499/mo — Growth: 5 seats, 50,000 contacts, 2,000 AI replies
- ₹4,999/mo — Business: Unlimited seats, contacts and AI replies
Wati
- $49/mo billed annually ($59 monthly) — Growth: 3 users, 15k broadcasts/mo
- $99/mo billed annually ($119 monthly) — Pro: 5 users, extra users $24/mo
- $499/mo billed annually ($599 monthly) — Business: 5 users, extra users $69/mo
On message rates
Their pricing page points at Meta’s own rate card for per-conversation charges rather than publishing its own rates, which reads like a pass-through — but it does not say so in words, so we will not claim either way on their behalf.
WACRM adds nothing: you connect your own WhatsApp Business Account, Meta bills you at its rate, and our fee never scales with how much you send.
Where Wati is the better choice
These are real advantages, not throat-clearing. If one of them is decisive for you, buy theirs.
- The most established name here, with years of reviews on G2 and Capterra you can actually read before buying.
- A deep integrations catalogue — Shopify, HubSpot, Salesforce and more as supported apps.
- Very large API allowances on higher tiers (20M calls/month on Business).
- A dedicated Customer Success Manager on the Business plan.
- A ₹999 one-time pay-as-you-go option for occasional bulk campaigns, with no subscription.
Where WACRM is the better choice
- Priced in US dollars, so an Indian buyer also pays currency conversion and card forex fees, and the rupee cost moves with the exchange rate.
- Additional users are charged: $24/mo on Pro, $69/mo on Business.
- Automation triggers and AI credits are metered monthly allowances, billed as add-ons beyond them.
- The 7-day trial is short for connecting a WhatsApp number and proving the tool with real customers.
And what we add that neither is built around: a catalog published to WhatsApp, carts arriving as orders, numbered invoices with UPI payment links and repeat reminders until paid, appointment booking with automatic reminders, and a 4-tier loyalty scheme — all in the tool your team already answers messages in.
What WACRM does not do
If any of these is a dealbreaker, we would rather you found out here than after connecting a number.
- We are new. No published customer count, no G2 or Capterra reviews, and no case studies yet — if third-party proof is what you need to sign off, we do not have it.
- WhatsApp only. No Instagram or Facebook Messenger inbox.
- No integrations marketplace. We have a REST API and webhooks, and Razorpay for payments, but no one-click Shopify, HubSpot or Salesforce app.
- No mobile app — the CRM is a web app, though your team keeps WhatsApp on their phones through coexistence.
- Support is email and WhatsApp from a small team, not a 24/7 desk with an account manager.
Switching over
Your WhatsApp Business Account, phone number and approved message templates belong to you, not to your current platform — they live in Meta's systems. Moving means disconnecting the number from Watiand connecting it to WACRM through Embedded Signup, which takes about two minutes; your approved templates come across with it. Contacts export as CSV from most platforms and import here directly. Chat history stays with the old platform, though coexistence means recent conversations on the phone sync into the new inbox. Automations and chatbot flows have to be rebuilt — no platform can import another's.
