Catalog and orders

Publish products to WhatsApp; carts arrive as orders.

Your product catalog lives in Meta Commerce Manager, which is what WhatsApp shows customers. WACRM publishes products to it, so customers browse and build a cart inside the chat. When they send that cart it arrives here as an order, with real product names, ready to invoice.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add a product once

Name, price, image and SKU. WACRM creates the item in your Meta catalog and keeps the link, so you are not maintaining the same product in two places by hand.

  2. 2

Or sync a catalog you already have

Already selling through Commerce Manager or the WhatsApp Business App? Pull the whole catalog in by content ID rather than retyping every SKU.

  3. 3

Share and sell in the chat

Send a single product card, a curated list of up to 30, or the whole catalog — from the inbox, from an automation, or by the AI chatbot answering a question about price.

The specifics

  • Carts customers send from WhatsApp become orders automatically, with each line matched to your product.
  • Two commerce switches Meta keeps on your phone number — catalog visible on your profile, and carts allowed — are set from the Catalog page.
  • When a customer taps "Message business" on a product, the enquiry is annotated with which product they mean.
  • Marking a product out of stock removes it from customers’ open carts, as Meta specifies.
  • Meta requires an image on every catalog item, and reviews items added to a catalog connected to a WhatsApp account. A rejected product is appealed in Commerce Manager, not here.

Questions people ask

How do I add a product to WhatsApp?
Add it on the Catalog page with a name, price, image and SKU. WACRM creates it in your Meta catalog, which is what WhatsApp shows customers — you do not need to open Commerce Manager separately.
I already have a catalog. Do I retype it?
No. "Sync from Meta" pulls every item into WACRM by content ID, including catalogs built in the WhatsApp Business App on your phone.
What happens when a customer sends a cart?
It arrives as an order with each line matched to your product, and can trigger an automation — for example creating an invoice with a UPI payment link.
